Wayne Rooney and Tom Brady’s unexpected feud has taken a fresh public turn.
The sparrow draws back for a comment by Brady, a minority owner in Birmingham City, about Rooney, the former head coach of the club, in the Amazon Prime Documentation Built in Birmingham: Brady & The Blues.
“I’m a little worried about the work morality of our head coach,” said Brady after visiting the club’s training area in November 2023. “I don’t know, I don’t have any big instincts.”
Rooney, who was released from Birmingham in January 2024 after only 83 days, has now fallen back in Brady in his new podcast. The Wayne Rooney Showwhich is broadcast twice a week on BBC sounds, YouTube and BBC iPlayer.

Rooney considered Brady’s statements and said that he was “really disappointed with the comment”.
“I think Tom came in what was the day before a game that the days are a bit easier anyway, and I don’t think he really understood football so well,” said the former English captain.
He added: “Football is not NFL – NFL works three months a year. The players also need peace, so I think that he is very unfair, how he came out and presented it.”
Your move, Tom.
