‘We are very irritated’ – EFL club slammed by Schalke after move for striker falls through twice

Schalke paid attention to Queens Park Rangers about a strongly elected explanation after the transfer talks between the clubs had gone south.

However, a deal has not been completed and they blame the championship outfit.

In an explanation on Schalke’s website, she wrote: “Despite FC Schalke 04 and the Queens Park Rangers, who have made an agreement on the transfer of Pape Meïssa BA twice, the move will not continue.

“The English championship side informed the Royal Blues about its decision in the early morning hours of Wednesday.”

Schalke’s board member for Sport, Frank Baumann, then banged QPR for her approach to sign BA.

“We have been very frustrated about the behavior of QPR in the past two weeks,” said Baumann in a strongly formulated explanation.

“This period was identified by delays without an essential explanation and days without response to calls or official messages.

“For us, a transfer should be treated in a more cooperative way – especially after two agreements between the clubs.”

Baumann also explained that the club had deliberately held away from commenting publicly in order to maintain respect for the player and the situation.

It seems that QPR has been withdrawn from a deal to sign the Schalke striker due to concerns about its fitness.

He continued: “Pape has achieved over 30 competition appearances in the past four years and was in good physical condition during our preparations in the previous season.

“The concerns expressed by Queens Park Rangers are not new – they have already been taken into account in four earlier transfers.

“She clearly does not prevent him from fulfilling his duties as a professional footballer, as his average of more than 30 games showed per season.

“Our priority is now to bring back to training as soon as possible.”

BA is a 28-year-old striker who only signed by French Side Grenoble for Schalke in January.

He scored two goals in 13 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga after scoring over 50 goals in Ligue 2 and underneath in France.

It seems that QPR was very interested in bringing him to England, but you have now decided not to continue moving.

More Schalke drama

Oddly enough, this is the first time this year that Schalke was involved in a spit with an EFL club.

In May, her step for Miron Muslic led to Plymouth Argyle aimed at the manager when he went to Germany.

Muslic was appointed Schalke boss three months ago after leaving Plymouth after relegation to the first division.

The departure occurred after Argyle had published an explanation to admit that they had “reluctantly” discussions.

It read: “Despite regular communication since the end of the season and no mention of problems, Miron has now clarified that after a long time outside of his family, this opportunity offers the chance to be closer to the street after four years.

“We are frustrated by this decision after we have implemented clear structures, processes and staff to support Miron and his coaching staff to return to the Sky Bet Championship at the earliest possible time.

“Not only that, the club also quickly campaigned for new signatures and repeated verbal promises from Miron that he was committed to Argyle and would do everything to help the club return to the second stage.”

Simon Hallett, owner of Plymouth, became raging after Muslic officially joined Schalke and wrote an open letter to the fans.

Hallet claimed that Muslic could never return to the club and criticized him for his approach to leaving his role.

The manager is now involved in drama with a team in the EFL a few months after departure to Germany.

QPR must pass to other goals while Muslic BA seems to keep in its facility.

In the first two games of the 2nd Bundesliga, Schalke won one and lost their next opponents with VfL Bochum.
