Causes regarding Napoli striker Victor Osimhen’s wages and character saw Manchester United end their interest in one summer transferhas unveiled a report.
United has considered a whole series of strikers in the past 12 months, and Osimhen was seen as a prominent on a shortlist, which also included Viktor Gyokoker and Benjamin Sesko before IPwich Town from Ipswich Town was priority.
It was then shown that United will not move as an alternative for Osimhen if you miss Delap, who is also sought by Chelsea and a series of other Premier League teams.
According to David Ornstein from The athleteUnited’s decision was based on several potential questions with the Nigeria International.
First, Osimhen’s wage requirements are considered enormous. Reports have proposed elsewhere that he is looking for well over £ 300,000 a week to make the move this summer, which is far above the budget of a united page that focuses on reducing costs.
It is also believed that United has questions about Osimhen’s character and personality because he fears that he is not the correct signing for the current situation of the club.
It is even suspected that these concerns are shared by other Premier League clubs – Arsenal and Chelsea were also associated with Osimhen – and the belief is that he will move to Saudi Arabia.
If Osimhen reduces his demands, a Premier League step could become a possibility. According to reports, the 26-year-old would like to move either to England’s top flight or to Juventus, but his current wage requirements will make such transfers impossible.
