According to The Pitch Prospect, Wolves are ready to sell Jorgen Strand Larsen this month as Nottingham Forest are keen to secure his signature.
Wolves believe an exit could be beneficial for all parties, while Forest are in the market for a new striker with last season’s top scorer Chris Wood injured.

The Premier League bottom club is understood to value Strand Larsen at over £40million, a price that put West Ham United off ahead of this window.
Unsurprisingly, Newcastle United have not revived their interest despite having several offers rejected over the summer.
The additions of Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa mean Eddie Howe’s side will instead be looking for midfield depth and defensive cover in 2026.
Forest currently only have two fit strikers in the summer in Igor Jesus and Taiwo Awonyi, as Arnaud Kalimuendo initially moved to Frankfurt on loan with an option to buy, although he only moved to the club from Rennes in the summer.
Strand Larsen has only scored one Premier League goal this season but despite a new five-year deal agreed in September, Wolves are prepared to sanction an exit.
It is thought that around double the £23m they paid to Celto Vigo would be considered accepted by the Wolves hierarchy.
Crystal Palace are also interested in Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes, a player who is also being discussed by Manchester United.
The Pitch Prospect understands that Wolves are more inclined to sell Strand Larsen this winter and that they would prefer to keep Gomes until at least the end of the season.
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in the Norwegian striker, which has surprised some at Molineux.
But Spurs are still waiting for Dominic Solanke to return from injury and are relying on Richarlison and Randal Kolo Muani to lead the team in the Englishman’s absence.
None of the strikers have been remotely productive for Thomas Frank’s men and a surprise move for Strand Larsen is possible.

Missed opportunity?
If Wolves sell Strand Larsen in this transfer window, they will double their money but lose around £10 million.
This is because Old Gold rejected two offers from Newcastle during the summer transfer window.
With Callum Wilson leaving the club and Alexander Isak striking to leave St James’ Park, the Magpies were desperate for a striker.
They had seen a Yoane Wissa move blocked and had not yet signed Nick Woltemade.
As a result, they turned to Strand Larsen following his 14 Premier League goals.
The first bid was £50 million before a second offer of £55 million was also rejected.
In the end, Newcastle managed to get Wissa on transfer deadline day and Strand Larsen signed a new contract.

Inappropriate
It would be hard to blame Strand Larsen for the mess Wolves find themselves in this season, but the striker was far from it.
He has scored one goal in 18 Premier League games this season.
That was a 3-2 defeat to Burnley and since Rob Edwards arrived he hasn’t even started every game.
In the last four matches in the top division, Strand Larsen was on the bench.
Even without Strand Larsen in the starting lineup, Wolves have picked up some form and picked up four points from their last two games.
